ABOUT THIS SHOW
Archaeology
Dr Chloe Duckworth, presenter of Channel 4's The Great British Dig, joins Neil Harris and comedians Elaine Robertson, Matthew Wheelwright and Luke Connell for an archaeology edition of Nerds Just Wanna Have Fun.
Expect ridiculous challenges, astonishing facts and gloriously confident guesses about the people who got here first. Chloe brings the expertise. The comedians bring several competing theories, most of them unhelpful.
Play along, enjoy the wrong answers and leave with something genuinely interesting to tell people. You don't need to know anything about archaeology. Curiosity is enough.
Dr Chloe Duckworth
Archaeologist, author and television presenter. Reader in Archaeological Science and Public Engagement at Newcastle University.

New to Nerds?
Every month at The Stand Newcastle, comedian Neil Harris brings together a panel of comedians and a special guest expert for a live comedy game show exploring a different subject each time.
From archaeology and history to the stranger corners of science, expect ridiculous challenges, astonishing facts, gloriously wrong guesses and plenty of opportunities to play along.
It's a night where knowing the answer is considerably less important than coming up with a funny one.
You don't need to know anything about the subject to enjoy it. Curiosity is enough.
